MagicPad is built so control stays between your iPhone and your Mac — on your network, on your devices.

Overview
MagicPad turns your iPhone into a trackpad for your Mac. MagicPad Server runs on your Mac; the MagicPad app runs on your iPhone. Touch and gestures travel over your local Wi‑Fi between those two devices.
We do not ask you to create a MagicPad account, and we do not run a cloud service that stores your trackpad activity.
What we process
To connect and work, the apps may use the items below. This information stays on your devices and your local network. We do not upload it to MagicPad servers to identify you.
- A short pair code shown on your Mac
- Touch and gesture input from your iPhone
- Basic device names so you can pick the right Mac
Permissions you grant
On Mac, MagicPad Server needs Accessibility so your iPhone can move the cursor and use multi-touch gestures.
On iPhone, MagicPad needs Local Network access so it can find your Mac on the same Wi‑Fi and stay connected.
You can change or revoke these in System Settings (Mac) or Settings (iPhone) at any time. Without them, pairing or cursor control may not work.
Subscriptions
Optional Pro features are purchased inside the iPhone app through Apple. Apple handles payment and receipts. MagicPad does not receive your full payment card details.
This website
magicpad.app is a marketing and download site. We do not use it to track how you use the MagicPad apps, and we do not run advertising trackers on these pages.
How long things are kept
Pairing details and preferences are stored on your own devices. If you delete the apps or reset them, that local data goes away with them.
Children
MagicPad is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
